Data deletion

You can ask us to delete the personal data we hold about you at any time. This page explains how. It applies to data we received through:

  • our Facebook page (NomadNestTH), Facebook Messenger and our Meta (Facebook) app;
  • the contact form on this website;
  • WhatsApp, LINE and WeChat;
  • email and phone.

How to request deletion

Use either of these options:

  1. Email service@nomadnest.co.th with the subject line “Data deletion request”. Please include:
    • your name;
    • the channel you used to contact us (for example Facebook Messenger, the website form, WhatsApp or email);
    • the identifier you used on that channel, such as your Facebook name or profile link, email address or phone number.
  2. Message us on Messenger at m.me/NomadNestTH and send “delete my data”.

We may ask you a short question to confirm that the request really comes from you.

What happens next

  • We confirm that we received your request within 7 days.
  • We delete or anonymise your data within 30 days and send you a confirmation when it is done.
  • This covers your messages, contact details and any profile information we received from Facebook or Messenger, as well as copies in our enquiry and customer-service systems.

What we may have to keep

We cannot delete records that the law requires us to keep, such as accounting and tax records, or documents that have already been submitted to Thai Immigration or other government authorities as part of a service you asked for. We keep these only for the required period and only for that purpose, and we tell you in our confirmation if anything was kept.

Deleting data from our systems does not delete messages from your own Facebook, WhatsApp, LINE or WeChat account. You can delete those in the app.

Removing our app’s access in Facebook

If you connected with our Meta app, you can remove its access yourself:

  1. In Facebook, open Settings & privacy → Settings.
  2. Go to Apps and websites (under “Your activity” or “Permissions”, depending on your version).
  3. Find the NomadNest app and choose Remove.
  4. If you also want us to delete the data we already received, send a request as described above.
