1. Who we are

This website is operated by NomadNest Company Limited (“NomadNest”, “we”, “us”), a company registered in Thailand under registration number 0505567008614, with its office at 50/58-59 Huai Kaew Road, Chang Phueak, Mueang Chiang Mai, Chiang Mai 50300. We are the data controller for the personal data described in this policy.

This policy explains what personal data we collect, why, how long we keep it and what rights you have under Thailand’s Personal Data Protection Act B.E. 2562 (2019) (“PDPA”).

2. What we collect

On this website

This is an information website. There are no user accounts, logins or payments on it. We collect personal data in only two ways:

  • Contact form. When you send us a message, we receive your name, email address, phone or WhatsApp number (optional), the service you are interested in and your message. We use these details only to reply to your enquiry. Submissions are stored in our enquiry system, which only NomadNest staff can access.
  • Analytics (only with your consent). If you click “Accept analytics” in the cookie banner, we load Google Analytics 4 and the Meta Pixel. They collect information such as pages visited, approximate location, device and browser type, and how you arrived at the site. If you decline, these tools are not loaded. See our cookie policy.

Our hosting provider may also process technical data such as IP addresses in server logs to deliver and protect the site.

When you contact us directly

If you message us on Facebook Messenger, WhatsApp, LINE, WeChat or by email or phone, we receive the details you share, such as your name, profile name, phone number, email address and the content of your messages. We use them to answer your questions and, if you ask us to, to provide our services.

When you become a client

To handle a visa application, extension, report or other service, we need personal data and documents such as your passport details and copies, photographs, visa and entry stamps, address in Thailand and other supporting documents requested by the authorities. We collect only what the specific service requires.

3. How we use your data

We use personal data to:

  • reply to enquiries and give you advice about your options;
  • prepare, check and submit applications and reports for you;
  • keep you updated about the progress of your case;
  • understand how visitors use our website and improve it (analytics, only with consent);
  • measure the results of our advertising (Meta Pixel, only with consent);
  • meet our legal, accounting and tax obligations.

Our legal bases under the PDPA are: taking steps at your request before entering into a contract and performing that contract; your consent (for analytics and marketing cookies); our legitimate interest in running and improving our business; and compliance with the law.

4. Who we share it with

  • Thai Immigration and other government authorities, embassies or consulates, as needed to deliver the service you asked for.
  • Service providers that help us run our business, such as website hosting, email, messaging platforms, and courier companies when passports are sent by post. They may process data only on our instructions.
  • Google and Meta, for analytics and advertising measurement, only if you accepted analytics.
  • Authorities or advisers where the law requires it or to protect our legal rights.

We do not sell, trade or rent your personal data.

Some of these providers store data outside Thailand. Where that happens, we rely on the safeguards the PDPA requires.

5. How long we keep it

  • Enquiries that do not lead to a service: only as long as needed to answer and follow up on your question, then deleted.
  • Client files: for as long as needed to deliver the service and afterwards only as long as required by law (for example, accounting and tax records).
  • Analytics data: according to the retention settings of Google Analytics and Meta.

6. Security

We protect personal data with appropriate technical and organisational measures, such as access controls and encrypted connections. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to keep your data safe and act quickly if something goes wrong.

7. Your rights

Under the PDPA you can:

  • ask for access to, or a copy of, your personal data;
  • ask us to correct data that is inaccurate or incomplete;
  • ask us to delete or anonymise your data;
  • object to, or ask us to restrict, certain processing;
  • ask to receive your data in a portable format;
  • withdraw your consent at any time (for analytics, use “Cookie settings” in the footer);
  • complain to the Office of the Personal Data Protection Committee.

To use these rights, email service@nomadnest.co.th. To ask us to delete data, see our data deletion page.

Our site links to other websites and apps, such as Facebook, WhatsApp, LINE and government sites. We are not responsible for their privacy practices; please read their policies.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when it last changed.
